Kaiser von Kirchenbaum is a gorgeous 6 year old dream dog. He is a magnificent long haired German Shepherd who is a bit embarrassed by having a "lion's cut".  His owner was a bit  confused about long haired dogs during the summer months. Aside from that, he should be about 100 lbs at his finest. Kaiser has such a story to tell.  We got the call from the shelter that he was out of time, it's now or never. He was deemed dog aggressive. One of our volunteer couples went with their stellar doggy volunteer to hopefully find out if this was not true. Low and behold Kaiser was still wearing his tags, and we called the prior owner. Not only is he not aggressive, he is the most accepting. He accepts all children (his owner is a grade school principal and would take him to school with her), has lived with dogs, puppies, kittens, cats, you name it. Kaiser is in a foster now with a loving family and he is fine with being an only dog, as he does not need the company of dogs to fulfill him.  He is a gentleman and enjoys human camaraderie.  If you do have a dog we suggest your mellow dog be over 25 lbs. due to Kaisers huge frame, we don't want him  unintentionally hurting a tiny dog. He loves his soccer ball and is known to run like the wind to retrieve itPlease come meet your new family member.
